Introduction
This report is based on information obtained from TCA members and
owners who have contacted the TCA but, as information about 2004 costs
are still being collected, this is just an interim report - a full report
will be published later in 2005. If you would like to contribute to our
survey please click here.
This report looks specifically at two key geographic regions:-

All Spain (including the Canaries and Balearics)

UK (including Eire)
The report includes just over 100 resorts/clubs but excludes points and
multi resort clubs - which will be dealt with in the full report. This
report does not identify resorts by quality grading nor do the costs include
exchange costs.
The initial conclusions of the survey are:-

Annual costs have risen by 8.5% in the last year and 24.8% since 2001 -
almost exactly double the rate of inflation

The spread of costs for similar sized units is very wide with some resorts
having annual costs more than three times that of others. See attached
charts
