As a result of strong response to existing compensation groups -  see here - TCA is now considering a number of additional groups.

It will only be possible to launch a group when sufficient consumers qualify to join a specific group based on a single trader. However the TCA already have a database of potential compensation claimants that should form the nucleus for a number of groups.

The basic criteria for joining a compensation group are:-

• That you bought the timeshare after July 2004
• That your purchase was financed (possibly only in part) by a loan arranged by the trader
• OR was financed (possibly only in part) by a credit card payment
• That you believe that you were the subject of mis-selling by the trader
